Was about ten or fifteen yards to my right, those two fit young university lads made a right job of climbing over the fenceMy fault - I should have made an attempt to stop it.![]()

About 2 yards to my right.
Coggs throws his wicket way.....a strange haze gathering over the ground now.
Any parking at the ground itself?

what is car parking like at the racecourse? forecast looks good tomorrow so might chuck a days leave in
Disappointed with Borthwick on that, would like to see him bat the same as his first stint at Durham, ie at 3 and aiming to score 1000 per season.Just looked as the scorecard for today interesting that Clark batting at 3 that would suggest that Brandon was right in his preview on this thread that Keegan when he arrives will bat at 3 and Borthwick and Bedingham move down one position in the order.
I know it's just the students but good to see the late middle order chipping in with runs I reckon their contribution will be vital this season.
The strange haze is probably down to the students watchingAbout 2 yards to my right.

As a side note to this match their is a video of Carse doing sprints on the outfield at the Riverside today and stating it's week 16 of his rehab.
Don't know how far that is away from him bowling competitively but he looked a good yard quicker than any of Sunderland's back four.
Really enjoyed today. Quite surreal sitting all day on a grass verge in glorious sunshine in March in a ground I don't think I've seen Durham play at since 1994. Good to see the middle/lower order putting runs on the board and nice as always to catch up with some old faces.
Was a canny turn out and I have to say the student spectators were impeccably behaved unlike that lot who turned up at the Riverside last summer.
All in all a really nice way to start the season.
20 degrees colder in the Co. Durham Upper I bet!Keeping fingers crossed I can get time off tomorrow. Forecast 18 degrees tomorrow, 10 degrees colder next week for the Yorkshire game
Yeah I wasn't planning to but enjoyed it so much I'll be there tomorrow. You down tomorrow?
