Forthcoming gigs.


Fontaines DC tonight was good. They have a good body of songs now, sound was shit but the kids were into it.
I'm a bit old for them but think this 3rd album could BD big for them the bits I've heard.

Sounds great, im hoping to see them in the summer ( tickets not bought yet ) but I imagine them to be great live.

They were very good. First show in the US and clearly having fun with it. Played 7 or so songs, I'd have to go back and figure that out, so pretty good for an instore. Top of my head they played - Dark Days, Fixer Upper, Rich, Land of the Blind, 100% Endurance, Pour Another, Peanuts

@Cheesy Feet Are you OK?? I caught Covid and think I got it at SLF. I`ve heard that there`s been a large number of people testing positive. You might want to book a PCR test. I did two lateral flows and they were both negative but the PCR has just come back positive.

It would be no surprise if the sweaty mess of bodies at the front led to a mini outbreak. So far so good here though - as far as I can be certain without doing a PCR, and feel more or less OK. LFT today was negative.

My two lateral flows were negative. Didn't get a positive until I did the PCR. I kept thinking super spreader event when I was looking down from the balcony. Was hoping I`d be OK but got nabbed in the end 😑
 
Broadcast's Maida Vale Sessions (released last week) is great stuff. Their rare Microtronics vol 1 and 2 mini albums have been reissued on one album and even rarer tour mini album Mother Is The Milky Way has also been reissued. Broadcast were a big favourite of mine so I welcome these releases.
Saw Cate Le Bon in Leeds last night. Not sure what dates are left on the tour but if you enjoyed her two most recent albums and you have the chance to go I seriously recommend you do.
