Two things I particularly noticed about Friday`s SLF gig was firstly, the crowd was REALLY up for it. I haven`t seen such a lively bunch at the City Hall for quite some time. Secondly, how bloody impressive SLF`s drummer, Steve Grantley was. I`d never really noticed him that much before but maybe looking down from the balcony gave me a different perspective. Absolutely brilliant performance.

nice to see 3 of them in dun cow beforehand , had quick chat, they thought was great boozer, told them about sid james dying at empire ( they didnt know that ), hoped it didnt happen to them in sunderland

In my wisdom ended up in the lunacy at the front. All good natured but battered (and got my glasses smashed!) and completely knackered by the end. Be amazed if that wasn't a covid superspreader event too! Probably getting too old for that if I'm honest but a memorable experience.
