Red Dead 2 - No Spoilers

Was she just shit at riding it then? Cos I've beat her twice so far, with 2 different horses.
I walloped her all over as well, but that's maybe because I always happened to be riding racing horses when I saw her.

I think with that quest, human intelligence beats AI.

Fallout 4 is a disappointing game. I loved Fallout 3 and especially New Vegas, but 4 is a bit short and those tedious faction radial quests - go here, talk to some hick, kill a bunch of raiders, rinse and repeat...found that very dull. Maybe it just fell a bit short after 3 and NV for me.
Fallout 4 was my first Fallout game and I enjoyed it a lot. I then played 3 and NV. I think if you come to 4 first, you're more sympathetic to it

Having a break from the game. Started doing all the hunting and other challenges that I'd totally ignored. tbh, its a bit boring and frustrating. Travel miles to find a legandary something or other, then you miss it and it runs off - won't be back for 2 days or so (apparently). So go somewhere else. Hmmm.
Then picked up a ? task, and it was to gather about a billion feathers and flowers, exactly the shit I was bored of. Lol.
Went back to Civ6 which I haven't played in years. Addicted as fuck as per usual lol

Didn't play Civ6 a lot as I didn't really enjoy it. But as ever the updates have made it better - playing Gathering Storm.
Thought I'd try something different, so playing as the Maori at the moment. Trying my hand on Diety, so I'm expecting to get my arse kicked :)

Back on this - little break and I'm loving it again.
Blasted through a couple of chapters including the bonkers stuff on the island

Funny, I've not been liking a certain character for quite some time, and clearly I'm right as the game is very much pushing me in a different direction recently.

And Micah is obviously a dickhead like :)
.
Well, that went down pretty much along the lines I expected. Can we do spoilers yet for a game that's years old?

If not, then I saw how the dynamic was changing ages before it started to be spoonfed. Didn't see the mole aspect as it played out though.
The illness.......... I hoped the was a cure, but nope.

At least the epilogue kicks in quickly so you don't dwell on it. Gutted, tbh.

Played through the first third of the game following the story, then went off on a massive amount of the go and fetch type missions - all the challenges and legendary animals, all that stuff. TBH, I did too much and the game became boring for a while. Then really I've blasted through the last quarter in a matter of days. Makes me think all that hunting and fetching wasn't really worth it after all.
No idea what to expect now.
It was very impressive but felt like the world was a bit too big. I finished it a couple months ago and then played the 1st one straight after. Prefer the 1st one. Both excellent games though and I'm glad I pushed through them
Very much thinking of playing "1" next mind. It comes after "2", doesn't it?
And looks like they might make a 3rd.
Marco was dead before I turned round and found him on the floor :(
My white arabian is lovely mind, Superkev
Kept SuperKev for the entire game after this. Until he gets killed right at the end.
I was devastated. The game rightly took a moment for it too.

And that's it. The end credits roll.
Nice touch seeing what happened to everyone, from Tilly getting married and having a kid, to Pearson working in the general store!

Quite sad that its over, honestly. Absolutely loved that game. Amazing to think people made that, frankly 8 years it took them, I read. Eight years. Crackers.

One of my favourite games of all time, 100%’d it, took ages but was worth it 😂.

I've played through tbe story multiple times and still discover new things because of how in depth it is. Depending on your honour people (and entire towns) react to you in different ways which I think is a great touch, then there's an absolute fuck load of side missions/strangers/quests that you can interact with. Loads of little things you find anorl that build a story which just adds to the depth of the game. I'd recommend watching videos from the below channel but be beware of spoilers, he pretty much covers everything in RDR2 and in good depth.

I'd highly recommend another run too through - don't be put off by how long it takes.

I'm considering it. I played the first 2 chapters on my old laptop - the world is a very different place with a decent GPU.
Plus, I had no idea what I was doing for quite a while.

So I might replace it, or I might grab RDR1
OR, are there Mods for this game? Any of them any good? I heard there's no DLC, which is a surprise.
.
Pants, just found out RDR1 is console only. Seems the emulators for the 360/PS3 era are ok-ish, so might have to give that a go. Excuse to play Last of Us, which always sounded amazing, I suppose.
Although there's rumours they are going to remaster RDR1 for the new gen, which should include PC versions. I don't see why they don't just make it in RDR2 engine as DLC - just remake the missions, basically. All the resources are already there.

Must say like, past few posts on this have got me wanting to start my fourth run through of this bad boy. Week off next week so might be the opportune time.

I'm now debating whether to start again, or to just wander the map with John. Turns out there's a massive chunk in the south west that I'd never been too, I guess its supposed to be Texas?

Just killed a load of Lemoyne Raider wannabe Spaniards.
