NUFC and other Sportswashing 2022 - Part 3

Any word on what has happened with the 210k their supporters trusts convinced some idiots to give them to buy the club?

A contentious vote took place about 5 weeks ago where it was decided to give it to charity (apparently voters only notified via email, only 2 days to vote, and plenty of donors won’t even have known about it).

Since then, complete silence, and this is still on their website:

The Pledge Scheme has now ended. The Trust are working on distributing the £210,000 you raised to local charities. Thank you.

No news of any charities getting the money, and we know what type of people some of the more high profile mags supporters have shown themselves to be.

210k doesn’t go far in top level football, but it’s a lot of money in the real world. Should the police be looking into this matter? That is for others to decide, but I will be keeping an eye on this.

It's gonna be given to charity.

Hasn’t taken him long to know how to play to the idiots

Actually only played against SAFC three times (based on a quick search)

30/9/14: 0-0 (Burnley)
31/1/15: 2-0 (Burnley)
16/1/16: 1-4 (Spurs)

I found a report in the Northern Echo where he got 4/10 (4.5/10 from Daily Mail) in the 2-0 defeat.

But he knows it doesn't take much to get the idiots worshipping him. It is actually comical. The media guy must say on day one "Lads, these fans are the easiest to get on side" as he gives them a list of buzzwords and easy wins. Tragic.

That was announced on 17th January:

That was nearly 6 weeks ago now. Why hasn’t it been distributed yet? Why no updates at all? What is going on?

He just gets it

And then the comment below saying he could be there for 10 years.

EH should enjoy it because they will turn and quickly. I know all fans say "the loyalist fans the world has ever seen" but I did chuckle when they were throwing Lascelles et. al. under the bus at the promise of an exotic signing like Botman or Carlos.

Could do some good heading to Eastern Europe if it’s still open to suggestion

I think it was mentioned by Alex Hurst on a podcast he does that it'll be down to the pledgers to decide by a vote. Maybe saw it on his Twitter feed.
Seems the fairest way imo

I don't know why. I didn't put money in and I'm not involved in the decision making.

Give us a Saudi owner. I couldn't give a f**k. Morality went out the window a LONG time ago in football and politics alike. Nobody seems to care who owns what, or where our products come from in this country, or most countries for that matter, so from a footballing standpoint I would rather see a wealthy arab own us. Get us that title again.

that account was buzzing about manquillo being back in training
It’s good news, that makes him our best fit right back.

Actually all he had to do was turn up and play, he’s our best player by some distance.

Lascelles has been poor for roughly 2.5 seasons now, isn’t in the best starting 11, and needs replaced.

How about the fact that he is now an NUFC player and not a Burnley player when they accepted a 25m bid that they were not contractually obliged to?
That tells me they were happy to take the cash. Not that they were desperate for us, or anyone else, to activate the clause.
If the new lad they bought scores the goals to keep them up then good business.
