At this point I don’t even think Ashley would be that bad of a replacement for Donald. Anything to get him out. Sick to death of knowing he and Methven own our club.

Personally I'd be more than happy to have Mike Ashley on board.

He's one of the most successful British business people in history, and under him Newcastle were a very, very well run club.

The problem he had was that running a club well, on a sound and sustainable footing at the top level, was incompatible with the delusions of grandeur amongst the locals.

aye but as we've seen with Kyril , a majority shareholder is dependent on the minority approving and funding any future investments.

Anyone who doesn't take 100% is hoping the club can get by on its own income alone
