I thought that I couldn't hate that f***ing club any more than I did.

The more I see of them post-takeover however, I realise I wasn't even scratching the surface.
It’s the fact you know that the mags would be the first to sell their souls, history and everything else in the event of a takeover - fully expecting them to look like ten times more plastic and corporate than any other PL side within the next few years.

Will be an unrecognisable sportswashing racket, nowt more.
 
Did people honestly think the mags would go down?
No. But some were sticking their heads in the sand believing they would spend the blood money badly. It was more likely they were getting out of it with a few decent additions. BSA showed when he signed a few good players in the Jan window, it makes all the difference.
 
To be fair... early on, maybe 2 months ago, they looked almost dead cert... only the cash has saved them, as well as Burnley, Norwich and Watford all getting even worse and gifting them a chance of survival

Wasnt really the cash, it was Watford and Burnley not putting them away. 4 more points at that stage from each would have buried them. Really frustrating
