then all i can suggest to those people is be careful of the door on the way out
He’s guilty jury not out they’ve gone home !
Do you think people go on on here like they would in the real world? Just not worth getting wound up that’s all. How? Here’s me thinking real people post on the board!
A few tbf. Bobby robson had been. Just bwfore taking over at ipswichHow many managers already sacked twice by the age of 40?
I dont disagree with anything you’ve said here. Football is about opinions and that’s fine. I just don’t think Neil is a good fit, it certainly doesnt mean i want him to fail.Football is all about opinions there's no right or wrong. You only know how any manager will do good or back after they've left everything else is just conjecture.
I mean 99 percent of safc fans thought O'Neil and Moyes would be great appointments because they had pedigree but look how that turned out. Chris Coleman was the next big thing after his Wales job and he turned out a poor appointment
Think he plays one up topAnyone know what his style of play is? I've read some things saying it's high press, but wondered if it involved 2 forwards. Ideally I'd like to see Defoe and Stewart together
A season with Norwich in the top flight and a season with Hamilton in the top flight (actually half a season, I apologise)A couple, really…However, Norwich were relegated after a single season in the Premier League. Neil had his contract terminated in March 2017,
I do agree that people always change their mind. But do think Neil is probably a better manager than Johnson.I will rephrase for Mr Pedantic. A very select few wanted Alex Neil to get the job, The significant majority didn’t want him until he was confirmed to be in final discussions today.
Nah. Was grayson wasn't it?Did he manage Mcgeady?
He needs to get a grip on the players because some of the weaknesses in that department have been blatantly obvious. I agree he needs that chance so we'll see what effect he has. I'm happy that we've now actually got someone!I think he will get the best out of this squad. He is firm but fair, organizes his teams very well and has a good record of bringing young lads on. Deserves a chance IMO
Aye, now you've said.Nah. Was grayson wasn't it?
Like I say I respect your opinion my opinion of Neil is I've no idea how good or bad his appointment will be no one does. But people calling him Parkinson etc are wrongI dont disagree with anything you’ve said here. Football is about opinions and that’s fine. I just don’t think Neil is a good fit, it certainly doesnt mean i want him to fail.
That's fair enough hopefully he proves us all wrongNot at all. I'm past saying I'm satisfied when I'm not. Of course I want him to do well, but no chance am I going to say I'm pleased with an appointment like this.
