Absolutely not.

He couldn't legitimately request it, and we couldn't in any way pay it.
Nor would I want us to, it would bankrupt the club, we're already losing money on a weekly basis.

There's no way on earth we spoke to him 2 or 3 times over a week or two and and then said "Oh Roy, we've just checked the sofa and realised we can't afford 50K per week."

Whoever fed him that rubbish must be laughing his head off.

We’ll be losing a whole lot more next season when season ticket sales plummet because we’re still in this tinpot league.

Agreed mate.

He'll have to work miracles to turn this teams disorganisation and lack of belief around.

I know that sounds absolutely mad considering our league position, but I really do believe that.

It would be interesting to know how much he earns for TV appearances. Not in the basis of whether it's £2.5 million but to see what salary might attract him to a full time job under close scrutiny from press, peers and general public.

And you think an intelligent and considered choice is going to come out of the current out of work manager pile we're looking at? If you do then you've certainly been swallowing whatever tripe Speakman is currently regurgitating.

Of course it didn't. Spending money on the wrong players, lack of people taking responsibility and chasing our tail seasons on season to stay in the PL did.

How on earth did being emotionally reactive (not that there's a club in the world that isnt) and being nostalgic get us into our current mess?

Speakman and KLD have certainly pulled the wool over a lot of eyes. The emperor is running round in the buff and some are telling him his new threads are Bobby dazzlers.

What a joke if a club we have become.
