Was he really in the running ? Don't think so,he made too much money as a pundit for SKY and other networks. Media interviews and newspapers all pay good money for giving an opinion on football.Why have the aggro of managing a pressure football club. On a hiding to nothing if not promoted .Next manager is ............

KLD is now out of credits, he will not speak to the media or the fans, he will not clarify ownership etc etc.

But anyway, he got a near 40k crowd on the back of spin ( Methven style on that Boxing day game v Bradford was it), and sold more season cards.

Fans are again being taken for fools.

I know what you’re saying. It possibly might have ended in tears but in the short term he would have gave the club an unbelievable lift and changed the mood completely. If keane was at the club you know he would demand high standards from top to bottom including the owner. It seems the owner has no real ambition and hasn’t got the deal over the line
 
Some messengers getting used for target practice on here mind, give it a rest man. Nobody is forcing you to believe any of it I don't know why all the hissy fits. Yet you will still get people shouting "anyone know any info?" when the next story comes along, should just say nowt from now on and let them get on with it.

the justification (rightly) for moving johnson on so quickly was that it wasnt working, but you can't replace a lower league plodder with another lower league plodder. keane for me was the different approach from recent appointments that justified peddling johnson.

whoever comes in now will be gone in 12 months so wtf does it matter. #typicalsunderland
