Not Roy Keane

The main issue is, there is no intelligent and considered appointment.

The shortlist appears to be McCann, Lennon or Neil.

Literally 3 out of work managers with no innovation or creativity to it.
That’s just what the press and bookies are saying mind. The same press and bookies that told us the Keane deal was all but done. I’ll reserve judgement until an appointment has been made, but the current regime have seldom played anything out in the press they just get on with the job. Although I won’t pretend that the random diversion from the plan in the last 2 weeks isn’t concerning, they have done enough right to retain the benefit of the doubt from me.

Keane has walked away.

Will get f***ing toxic now.

Hard to imagine the reason is not linked to not wanting to work under Speakman's model.

I think Roy would suit a DoF model, but the question for me is whether we are doing it right, are the boundaries clear enough and is it professional. The noises coming out of the Johnson end of his sacking suggest not.

Shambles.

In the battle between the blown up academy manager nonentity and one of the PL's greatest players it looks as if the academy manager has held sway. I suspect Keane wanted more autonomy than was on offer. Let's hope the choice they make doesn't come back to bite them on the arse. I suspect it's just another shit appointment in the mould of Grayson, Coleman, Ross, Parkinson and Johnson.

It would depend on who the DOF is.

Well at least we've still got someone at the helm who once had a good season looking after Birmingham's u14s. Gotta look after this "philosophy" after all.

KLD: :Hew Michael, we're having issues with the conditional formatting and its not an easy fix as our IT group are still sitting their ECDL. Can you put our fans off the scent please?"
