I don't remember posting it before. So a simple cut/paste job wouldn't quite get the job done.
I thought I'd give PF a rest for today due to the mad hysteria last night. Coming back on the first post I read was you banging on about spreadsheets and philosophy and Speakman and I thought 'man, that was just about every post from this poster last night'. I get your point. As I say I was obsessively going on about Lee Johnson's 'streaky' record and got slapped down for it.

Keane does not "need" the big salary. He is wealthy beyond most.

Roy Keane has famously questioned footballers motivation.

"Why do they need 5 cars?"
"How many times do you want to be a millionaire?"

2 quotes directly attributed to him about young footballers and what is, or is not important.
This is not about the money he might earn.
This is about doing it right.
This is about whether the people in charge will give him the resources to do the job properly.
absolutwely yes...he doesnt need money. point ive made throughout. if he comes to safc it wont be amount money.

Im guessing but its a blunt calculation 10000 extra to gate £25 per ticket =250 thousand .....wont be that as not all adults so i go for 6000 adult tickets x 25 175 thousand ....whatever it is it was a substantial sum!

I take this post back.

I got a like from Kildare, so I TAKE IT BACK, I TAKE IT BACK.

SORRRRY

Exactly the same here. There is something about Neil, his record and what you read about him that makes a load of sense, However, now that Keane is in discussion etc. it would give some amazing excitement. It could easily go wrong but I doubt anyone wouldn't be excited. Making a guess I think the club has sacked Johnson with the expectation of appointing Neil or McCann but found out about Keano's interest after this and its thrown everything up in the air.
As mentioned on the Neil thread last week, I have a bunch of good pals who are ST holders at Carrow Road. They all really rate Alex Neil.

Just driven past the Hilton in Cheltenham and saw the team coach. Went back and popped in for a pee no sign of Roy or the team but the Tynedale coach was there
ITK

Roy's in Whitburn cos he knew I was stuck. He just gave Whitburn Makem a pasting, and giving me a lift yem.
He'll be at the SOL on Saturday. Nee botha.

Probably a bit less than that...some love to add a bit on like.
