Any update since this post @Steve F

Hi,

Good evening, Rubberface and myself have been consistent from the outset in our belief Keane will be our Manager/ Coach. I have been consistent that if Keane wants the job then it’s his. The delay and to be clear it’s only my view, Keane will want the best possible contract ( remember what he said on TV Friday night, any contract had to be right for both parties). My concern is that we don’t give him what he wants which why the club is 100% correct to carry on discussions with others McCann and Neill.

Keane will rightly want assurances on his contract agreement on his back room staff and in reality will be judging if he thinks he can work with the Board.

I genuinely believe he’s coming, it is annoying that he won’t be taking the team tomorrow. The team selection ( although it still should have been good enough to win) was poor, particularly in not starting Matete, Hume and Clarke or Roberts.

Keep the faith. STID👍

Staggers me how anyone on here can believe someone, even a ‘proven ITK’.

‘He’s got a good history’

‘Aye his lasses brothers milkman’s mate who had a trial for the under 21s in 1986 predicted when Defoe left that he would be back at some point and he was proved correct. Aye he also heard a rumour that we were going to change our walk out music when SD and CM came in and he was spot on like’.

Ffs. No one has a clue about anything.
