The truly agonising part is that if it’s not Keane, most of our fan base will be pissed off and rightly so. But even if Keane does come, I’ve got a feeling he won’t be anywhere near as successful as his first stint. So it’s lose-lose. Depressing.
I love the bloke but if he is appointed I can't see him lasting long at all in the current circumstances. Too many of the players would go to pieces once they realise that he'd regard anything less than promotion as a complete failure and going off his interview with Gary Neville I can't see him getting along with someone like Speakman in the slightest.

you have probably seen more safc first team matches this season than mike dodds..
And you don’t see that as an issue? He should be living and breathing the club, especially as a development coach. Absolute nonsense to suggest otherwise. He should be living and breathing football. This is what others, and KEANO always allude too. Consuming as much football as possible, learning and listening. But aye, he wouldn’t have any knowledge of the first team. Bollocks man

I think they were caught on their heels as they weren't expecting to sack Johnson when they did. Something else has happened (backed up by KLD interview) and they've had to press the button and also had to send the assistant packing who would normally hold the fort for a week or two.

Speakman is hiding behind 'integrity' to mitigate being caught with his finger up his arse and no backup plan (as they were so confident of LJ still being here till end of season).

There's no chance a club has no idea of which managers to approach if rhere had been weeks of discussions on a managers performance and potential sacking.
How can they be caught on their heels when it was they who precipitated the 'crisis'.

At this time of the season and in our position in the table, it's criminally incompetent to sack the manager with clearly no back up plan.

My hope is they have already gone to pieces recently ( as witnessed) and he can somehow get some confidence into them -really hope he dosnt listen to those at the club to pick the side mind early on

We need Keano in asap. It could turn very, very nasty on Tuesday if we go a couple of goals down. Especially if he starts the same team.
But he has no knowledge of the first team and he’s not employed to do that job, so go easy lads eh

in a one team league any manager could have won that without Rangers in scottish premiership man
and yet he took a very bad Hibs team to promotion at first attempt then got them in the Europa League. Hey I understand it’s Scotland but you can’t claim McCann is ahead of him which was the original quote
