The difference here is last time he had a transfer window and he was able to bring in a group of players that completely changed the side. Another in January to add more to get us promotion.

This time he’ll need to do it with the utter shower we’ve got now.

Might have worked 14 years ago. Nowadays all it takes is an anonymous whistle blower to PFA and they'll be all over the club investigating 'bullying and harassment'. Times have changed. No need for a player revolt like days gone by. All he has to do is piss one player of sufficiently.
 
Just my opinion but Keane would light the Spark, immediately raise our profile & be a statement of intent. Anyone else will be a PowerPoint presentation Manager, totally backward thinking Speakman choice and stink of Salmon Pants & the Dwarf. It hasn't worked and it won't work. It's got to be Roy or we are in the doldrums for years

Gutless shite. No pride whatsoever and they are kicking off with the club for sacking Johnson after a 6-0 defeat where they effectively downed tools. Then rolled over to theam bottom of the league in front of nigh on 40,000.

Cant qait for Roy to get into that dressing room and kick some of their soft as shite arses.

He shouldn't be judged on the outcome of this season though, that's my point. Appoint him, give him a level of autonomy he can live with and give him a two and a half year deal.

Not saying you're chatting shit or anything but I think people expected him to be announced today in some capacity. Throw in the odd interview by Speakman and the result sort of just ruined peoples mood. Can see understand why they'd be skeptical
 
TBF it was a stupid interview to do from Speakman before the game!

Why f***ing bother!? It's just added more confusion to the situation and dampened the excitement before a huge game.

And if what he says is true, we may as well write this season off. I don't know what they're playing at
