Think he'll end up getting more yellows than LJ did?If it is Keane can you imagine all those incompetent referees in league 1 who when refereeing Sunderland at the sol always seem to think it's about them.
They'll be even worse ffs
TBF he didn't comment on it. He said "No Comment"I dont think he goes on ITV and comments on it if it isnt just about done.
Refs will be even worse. They will have a stiff on when they referee us
Ive said, comparatively to the others I’d take Keane.Tbh if they were in the 3rd division, had just sacked the latest in a string of inept failures, and the only other apparent candidates for the job were similarly dour losers, I wouldn't think they were daft for wanting Benitez back.
Leaving aside the issue of who did the better job for a minute, context is key here. In our current position, Keane coming back is the most exciting appointment that we can realistically make and it's not even close.
I think it’ll be the oppositeIf it is Keane can you imagine all those incompetent referees in league 1 who when refereeing Sunderland at the sol always seem to think it's about them.

You still sticking by this mate?Tonight, possibly before the Utd v Boro, game.West stand upper tier 3 sections has been opene for ticket sales, tells me it makes sense for it to be announced.
The part time linesmen too, they'll crumbleIf it is Keane can you imagine all those incompetent referees in league 1 who when refereeing Sunderland at the sol always seem to think it's about them.

It is different though isn't it? We're fortunate enough (like many on here) to have lived through the Peter Reid years, but since then the Keane reign has been the most exciting time to support the club. That run from bottom to top, keeping us up when we'd previously had two record breakingly bad seasons and some, including myself, started to wonder if we'd ever have another prolonged top flight spell. At a very low ebb, he gave us hope back. So fast forward to now when we're at a much lower ebb, again desperate for some hope, I'm not surprised people are getting excited. Whereas benitez came in, didn't do particularly well and left to make more money. We can though, Keane took us up, kept us up and it was bloody brilliant. Then, he. left, and lets not wear rose tinted glasses around the reason he left.
So, not in terms of where they left us in the League, that’s not my argument, but we have ripped the piss out of the Mags for months for their cult of wanting Rafa back.
Can he play CB having now had his hip replaced ?Like someone who was a number 2 in the premier league at 2 different clubs?
Tony Loughlan again then. Worked under Sean Dyche at Burnley until the summer. Had to pack in to get a hip replacement.
I'll ask again, what brilliant task did Benitez achieve at the mags?We can though, Keane took us up, kept us up and it was bloody brilliant. Then, he. left, and lets not wear rose tinted glasses around the reason he left.

I think they'll be on even more of a power trip as well.Refs will be even worse.
I agree don't think just til the end of the season will suit himHe will only come if the contract length is 18 months minimum, surely.
They wouldn’t be daft enough to only offer to the end of the season would they?
Benitez was lauded as being the resurrection of Jesus Christ himself by them lot up the road, nobody could compare to him. I don't think any of us would say Roy was perfect, but he gets Sunderland, and that's exciting. Looking forward to seeing what happens this time round. One things for certain, it'll not be dull.It was totally different man
He took over we were bottom 3 of the championship with a team relegated with the lowest ever points total, we then won the league and he kept us up
The place ane fans were absolutely buzzing through it all. People have short memories like
Bit different from rafa spunking about £50 million to get them up
Totally right, Fergie syndrome all over. Bring on the late goals.I think it’ll be the opposite
The players will be disciplined and the refs will be in awe of him
