Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he’s said he’ll take it, but wants a minimum 18 months. He’s waited so long to get back in to management, surely he wants a guarantee that regardless of how things go this season, he’ll get a transfer window and a full season of his own.

Also his patter with Wright.

Aye I agree my instinct is he doesnt want a 6 month deal

which would be completely fair enough

“ Contract has to be right” - if we have offered X and he wants X plus another £15k a week we might not be able to go there financially.

Loved his body language and his smile but I have a concern that his demands maybe a stretch for us, but hope I’m wrong
