lots of gpood managers have been renderd obsolote by the way football has changed..for eg...mouroinho has gone sharply backwards in recent years..benitez another..benitez style of defensivly organising a team simply doesnt work now at the top level..because more innovative managers have figured out hopw to beat it.
every imdsutry and profession evolves..new methods are created and deployed...its human nature and football does not supercede that,,btw what year dod greece win the euros? a long time ago..rwkativekly speaking..

Wtf is that

im not sure how many fans safc have anymore..there seem to be more defoe and keane fans than safc fans
It's possible to be all 3

It's also possible to believe that Defoe and Keane will benefit Sunderland second time around. We've got one, now time for the other. Not for nostalgia or a Keane love-in, but because I genuinely think he could be a good appointment, and it's a risk worth taking at this stage.

There’s too many people posting things about Keane to Sunderland for it not to be genuine like.

Compilations from Sky Sports of Keane’s best punditry moments, Micah Richards saying it ‘makes sense’ for Keane to be our manager.

I just don’t think the media lot will be acknowledging it as much if it wasn’t almost done. It’s as if Keane has told them he’s going to be our manager and has said his goodbyes.

Not convinced. The best players win games, and the most money tends to get you the best players. Pep hasn't figured out who to beat a parked bus, he just has the quality at his disposal to do it anyway.

Sky Sports are saying their goodbyes imo.

I think managing hull and sunderland are two completely different challenges on so many levels. You can not compare us to them, different expectation, more fans. It’s like being in a goldfish bowl at SAFC.
Sunderland have a far better structure to go round the coach. In some ways it should be easier to manage than Hull and in some ways harder. As for Goldfish bowl I think you are correct. Lee Johnson didn;'t handle it well as we could see in the Lincoln match and others - he came across as desperate to be loved. Maybe a more soild, pragmatic choice like McCann or Neil would be better at handling it.

I think the prevailing view now is that it is Keane as first choice as we would all have it. The club is aware that Keane may not go for it and so we need a back up. As we speak the speculation would be the back would be one of McCann/Lennon/Warnock/Woodgate/Neil. I'd go for Neil nut McCann, in my view, would be a far better fit or choice than Lennon/Warnock/Woodgate.
