Agreed. And I wasn’t even someone who would have mentioned him as a candidate. But I’m excited now. Would definitely be deflated if we ended up with Mcann

Honestly, I genuinely think it would kill me off.

The owners have no-one to blame but themselves with their liking of posts if it does come to that mind.

Genuinely think there will be a massive backlash towards them if it's anyone other than Keane now in a similar way that the Parkinson appointment finished Donald in terms of being liked by the supporters.

He’s got the easiest job in the world atm and we are a league one club with high expectations of nothing but promotion in a short period of time. Personally if he wants to get back into management this is the perfect opportunity but…

How exactly do we know he interviewed well ? -surely that’s not great leaking that type of stuff before other candidates are spoken to -did the others not interview well ? -lazy guesswork
We’ve got journos all over contradicting each other -probs because they have no “ sources “ at the club because we are irrelevant!

It’s a massive job for anyone to try and get us up this season as automatic spots are not in our hands relying on other teams
Plus the new manager probably won’t have a clue or limited knowledge about our squad the strengths and weaknesses of individuals but it’s exciting times been a Safc fan never a dull moment
