Roy Keane

So if the new manager doesn’t start well, the board will have to be thick skinned unless it’s Roy Keane. What if the new manager doesn’t start well and it is Roy Keane.

I’m just gonna put this out there. Tin hat on: is he gonna be our Rafa?
If the fans have decided its Keane, he'll get more slack from the fans than someone they don't want, like it or not. If you can't see that.

I should add, I never voted for Keane, but I can see he would bring a lot to the club other candidates can't, and I'd be happier with him opposed to many of the names mentioned wrt interviews.

There will be fines for being late, even if it's for just one minute. I read yesterday Lampard is fining the Everton players £1000 for every minute they are late.
Lampard needs to read the chapter in Freakanomics about the Nursery that tried to do this

Mind, there's some fuckin' weird people have outed themselves on this thread over the past 12 hours or so.
I've categorised it in these loose categories

People who want Keane
People who don't want Keane but don't seem to want anyone
People who want Keane so if he fails they can pretend they always 'knew'

This is the most united the fans have been on a potential manager since ONeil probably. The club and fans need a shot in the arm - whose gonna do that Neil Lennon or Roy Keane????

We’re on our way with Roy back in town!

Let today be the day it’s confirmed, be a class start to the weekend!!

Really hope this gets sorted and announced early today.

More time to take it in and the build up ahead of tomorrow and it would probably add a couple of thousand to the gate if enough time.

“There is nothing in Keane's punditry for Sky Sports and ITV over the past 11 years since he last managed a club to suggest his temper has cooled or his personality has altered.”

It then goes on to use the ‘swinging punches’ rant against De Gea which was in 2018?

But nowt (or barely nowt) since then? And he hasn’t cooled down apparently?

Absolute bollocks.
