One thing about isolating and WFH the morra, stright into the beer for his presser.
Jammy bastard! Got two presentations to finish and do tomorrow. This weekend I’m going to be ruined though

Our lass just now “are we going to start packing for the move this weekend?”

Me
“You can get fucked, Keano’s coming home!”

Well said GG.

Professionalism, high standards, and a winning attitude replacing bullshit and excuses for failures.
I don't even think he'll mind the set up. He's said he didn't like dealing with agents and that side of things. Obviously he'll want a say in terms of what players come in (if he's here longer than 6 months), but again I doubt he'd want to do all the scouting himself. Agreeing what the right attributes are, signing off from the options judged to be realistic and letting others do the negotiations sounds like it could suit him to the ground. Let him concentrate on managing the players, hopefully with a good coach alongside him (hell, longer term defoe could help in that regard). If he's at a club he likes, with an owner who he knows is going to be ambitious and who has expectations that match his own, I think he'd take that in a heartbeat
