Roy Keane

That's true, and I suppose the thinking is that his role would be similar as he'd be more of a coach than a manager. I just think it's a massive risk that we wouldn't consider for anyone else with similar experience and results
Where’s the risk?
We‘ve been down here for four years, the dice has to be rolled. It literally can’t be any worse under Keane than the shit that’s went before him.

If it doesn't work we start afresh come the summer.

I'd have a hell of a lot of respect for KLD throwing his dice at this year knowing it comes down to work on the training ground and 17 X 90 mins matches, nowt else.

There are no risks with this.

Appoint a Mccann or Lennon and we bottle promotion and there'll be uproar yet again - including by those who currently detest Keane.

If you are who people suspect you to be, it's absolutely no surprise you prefer lower league no-mark dossers to Roy Keane.
if roy keane becomes safc manager he will be a lower league manager.
im sure methven and Keane would get on well....both work in the media industry, keane interacts wuith people like methven every day in media land...

That's not really my point, pretend it's not Keane and just another manager that had a similar record with a different club. Would we be considering them for our last ditch promotion push?
When looking at the rest of the candidates, yes (obviously it wouldn't generate the same level of excitement if it was someone else tho). It's hardly like there is an abundance of quality available.

wiki says 38 per cent across ipswich and safc..i dont know if thats good or not.

short is very successful at what he does..quinn as well.

Quinn?, I don’t follow his career moves day by day but he certainly seems to have a lot, not the sign of someone doing well IMO

I met Methven. Keane would spot instantly that he is a chancer with no substance. If I sussed it in 2 minutes I reckon Roy will.

quinn is a successful businessman...im sure he does the sky thing as well..but he owns shares in some hotels around where i grew up...

But he'll never be a no-mark. Grant McCann and Neil Lennon will never be anything other than that.
