Roy Keane needs to fit in with our, modern, stucture, not the other way round. He can bring a lot of positive things to the club, but we shouldn't go backwards to accommodate him.
Wtf are you talking about?!

Did you watch any of those Sunderland Til I Die documentaries? Now go and watch the Man City Documentary on Amazon.

Now compare the way the club is run and what goes on behind the scenes at all levels, with the structure in place at Man City who at time of filming, we’d been playing in the same division as only months earlier. Even if the structure has improved by 90% over the past couple of years (highly doubtful) we’d still be in the f***ing Stone Age.

are you saying that we haven't changed the structure of the club since KLD came, regarding recruitment and backroom staff since that series four years ago? If you are you are very wrong. We have progressed in the right direction that's what I'm on about. We are not where we want to be yet but it doesn't happen overnight.

this.

we were mostly backed by an Irish billionaire property developer and then there was a worldwide crash and Ellis short came in.
It's Sunderland to a tee, that when everything for once looks like it's going right, there's a fuckin' global financial crisis to cock things up.

We'll probably appoint Roy, win the fuckin' league, and Russia'll march into the Ukraine.

Backwards!!!!!!!!

And I suppose our modern structure is brilliant is it?

The very structure that has us scrambling around to make the play offs again in the THIRD TIER of English football.

Give me strength.
No it's not, but it's the modern DOF way and is progressive. It's not an overnight thing.
