Anyone hear that arseclat Agbonlhor there on talkshite.
Absolutely slated Keane.
Keano has alluded to some bad eggs at villa. I can’t remember the exact interview, maybe the Neville one. Where he talks about these players at villa who couldn’t trap a bag of cement trying to tell him what to do

Re: Telegraph Facebook page 8 hrs ago stated he's been offered the job........whether he accepts the terms is a different matter though.

'Thinking about it' to my mind either means he's wrangling over the proposed terms offered by Speak/KLD or he's trying to plan accommodation/get sign off from the missus on minor stuff.

Hopefully the latter if he's asked for a few days to think it over.

The sounds he's made recently make it sound like he's been itching about getting into management for a while.

This seems low risk from Keane’s perspective. He’s struggling to get top jobs as a manager (unfairly in my view, given that people like Lampard keep walking into big jobs) and would get a pundit job again in 5 minutes if he leaves us.

I’d love him to come back. He’d give the place a huge lift and sort out standards. And he’d be a name to attract new players. Yes, it may end it tears, but virtually all appointments do. So we may as well give it a go.

Anyone wanting plodders like McCann ahead of Keane are barking up the wrong tree IMO.
