If Keane joins it will be a roller coaster ride.

I remember reading his second autobiography and thinking he’s definitely not finished with us.

My one slight reservation is that unlike his first spell here he won’t have an opportunity to bring his own players in.

If he’s going to work a miracle and take us up automatically he’ll have to do it with this squad …. but if Johnson can get them to third ….
It might be better that he doesn’t pick the players. Cloughie never, Taylor did that for him.

Better players?

We had some bog standard Championship players such as Nyron Nosworthy! Dean Whitehead and Liam Lawrence were hardly superstars 😂
Dean Whitehead who went on and played in the Prem for how many seasons with Stoke?

If the bloke could finish a sandwich he would have been class.

Nyron who was playing next Jonny Evans? Who was class

A load of those players were lower half of the Prem players and went on to prove it

People are getting their fannies in a flap, worrying about this and that. We had an utterly miserable few years with godawful managers, some terrible humpings and, despite our spending being massive, are still down here.
Is Keano coming back, perhaps only until the summer, really such a terrible thing to try?

The bloke’s a footballing expert, ffs! He’s had no choice but to follow the game intently all his career, he is after all a pundit. He’s played at the highest level, captained one of the greatest English footballing success stories of all time, and knows everyone who’s anyone in the business. People saying he doesn’t know the modern game! Don’t be ridiculous!

Sit back, relax, and just see where he takes us. If nothing else, the players will be better motivated and organised than under LJ! The team were crumbling under LJ, and looked likely to miss out on automatic promotion anyway.
Enjoy the buzz, even if we don’t make it to the championship this season.
Perfectly put. 👍

We already have the players in though and if he did do well for us again doesn't he deserve the chance in the championship if things went well? Or if he did badly for us then of course I would agree. He might get us up you say, isn't that what you want? What we all want. Just give him some time to at least manage and see how it goes. He won't take any nonsense from the players that's for sure.
Can’t imagine Maguire chancing celebrating in Keano’s face 🤣

We have literally hours of footage of him displaying that he has most ridiculously archaic view on football.

The game had well and truly outgrown his outdated philosophies long before he took the Ipswich job. I Shudder to think how far ot has surpassed him now with almost a decade out of management.

Plus he's a serial bottler. He walked out on Ireland, he walked out on us and he'll walk out on us again.
There is a hell of a lot of truth on what you are saying. However, the clubs crazy to start with so what the fuck. Besides who else decent that we have not already tried is there??? Reluctantly lets give it a go IF it is true.
