Looking at Oddschecker, only 3 bookies are taking bets now. Probably fewer than that in reality.

It's a pretty sure sign that the word is out.

I've said it before and I'll proudly say it again. I managed to get a tenner on (in pure hope) on Monday, at 33/1. Keano's not just going to drag us to the Championship, he's going to pay for next years season ticket.🤞

Yeah Keane managed at the top level, captained the greatest English side to multiple titles, coached/managed by the greatest manager to grace the game for over a decade, had since had time to mellow and learn from his assistant roles, the other two are worthless cannon fodder sacked from worthless clubs in recent times
Bit harsh 😏

I think that is fair, but it also seems like those players are quite rare, and more importantly, he simply can't deal with the other ones? If he can't accept players' failings then he is going to have serious issues with League One. Screaming in players' faces about how shit they are week in week out when they fail to trap a ball or whatever is going to cause problems.

I also told like the contrarian stuff. Just trying to pick a fight with players for the sake of it (e.g. 'why weren't some of you arrested last night, I expected you to have character') is a poor reflection on him.

I think the worst bits for me were his time after management though. When Edwards says he hasn't changed one bit now he's a pundit. Or the fact he was exactly the same as assistant manager at Ireland and Forest. I would want to see some signs of reflection and growth really.

I don't think I've ever heard much about him screaming at players over a lack of ability. He falls out with people when he perceives there's a lack of effort or professionalism. Personally, I want that at the club.

Walked away when the going got tough and used "issues with Short" as his excuse. Never liked him before he came but acknowledged he was a great & driven player. Respected that. Brought that to the team and bought well, generally. However, when he finally ran out of steam halfway through the final season he bottled it. Left Sbragia to pick up the pieces. Could have seen it through, kept us up and walked after his contract expired and said "someone can push the team to the next step" or seen us relegated and could have used "taken the team as far as I could" and I would have respected his decision either way. As pointed out earlier in the thread we'd be looking for someone new in the not too distant future.
