As a club I reckon we are in a position of being out with an ex who couldn't live with but now thing maybe you can't live without.

We're 6 pints in and on the way to the ablutions, your eye is on the exit door, but your mind is on the Johnny machine.
Aye and all the alternatives have Jo Brand's body and Amanda Staveley's plastic surgeon.

We used to laugh at the mags over their Keegan and Shearer obsession. We are going the same over Keane and Defoe. We just lost 6-0 and it’s seems forgotten over a couple of big names.

I like Defoe but can’t stand Keane. Some of the things he’s said and done over the years are appalling. We will become Ireland reserves again and that won’t get us where we want to be.
The Premier League is where it got us for over a decade before…..

He only has to do well until the end of the season. 3 month or so. A new manager bounce and our relatively easy fixtures will carry him through the first month alone

So Republic of Ireland internationals wouldn’t get us out of league 1 ?

John O’Shea for assistant manager anyone?
It's Roy Keane, surely he could get an assistant in with some pedigree to help him. Wonder if someone like Brian Kidd would come with him? I know Kidd has retired but that doesn't stop a lot of people in football, and Keane wanted him at Ipswich in the past.

I’d be very surprised if it was him. I would’ve thought he was enjoying his punditry too much.

I love Keane and his time here was one of the most exciting in my lifetime being a Sunderland fan but think we’ve all moved on now. I’d be approaching his appointment with trepidation in all honesty.
