Haha no I was the child, was when you could go and watch them train. A mag mate actually came with me and had the balls to ask for Gordons gloves. He then kept them, very strange behaviour. Were you at school together?
Diouf threatened to stab Anton Ferdinand in the tunnel after one of our home games ended up in a brawl.Stab? What have i missed?
Always get bits and pieces but there's nee way I'm putting them on here.when did you become an ITK lad, you kept that fucker quiet
So its not a lazy stereotype, he is controversial, he does get wound up, he will be frustrated reporting to the likes of speakman and dealing with players in the dressing room. While karate kicking a tactics board in two might have got a response out of whitehead, kavanagh and Miller etc I dont see it working 12 years later with modern players who are on their phones onto their socials to check their likes as soon as they get in the dressing room. Look what happened as soon as you added Diouf and Chimbonda to that dressing room. He didnt have a clue what to do with them and we ended up with players threatening to stab each other in the tunnel. He then walked as soon as he realised he couldnt keep it up.
Probably sniffed them while crywankingHaha no I was the child, was when you could go and watch them train. A mag mate actually came with me and had the balls to ask for Gordons gloves. He then kept them, very strange behaviour.![]()
Exactly this ^^This is the bloke who came in and carried this club from bottom of the Championship to the Premier League, and kept us there.
Yes, it didn't work out for him at Ipswich, but it hasn't worked out for any manager at Ipswich for a long time. Sometimes clubs just go in to decline and its very tough for anyone to arrest that decline. We should know that as well as any fan base.
The man is a winner and a legend of the game. He has a good history with this club, still speaks affectionately about it and is keen to get back in to management. He's one of the few people in football who can walk in to a dressing room and command instant respect. I can't even begin to think how much of a boost it would give the young lads in our squad to be working for Roy Keane. How much they'd get from it.
I've heard him speak a lot about football and reflect on the times he had - and mistakes he made - at SAFC and Ipswich. I have no doubt whatsoever that he'd be a better manager now than he was back then. Let's not foget that back then, he was in his 30s and fresh off the back of his playing career. He admits that that there was a lot he needed to know, but didn't back then.
If he wants the job it's an absolute f***ing no brainer for me.
Not tonight he's notHe would have the presence in the dressing room but he is Cheshire based which would be the 1st problem
Keane and Defoe
I’d probably combust![]()
Aye think it would kill any momentum which has been on the wain anyway for a whileThis is what I’m preparing for
Like the day we went from Poyet and Schwarz to Johnson and Speakman.
Sounds like when the mags roll into townThere'd be cocks all over the pavement as MLFs everywhere had sheered them off
Not being funny but McGeady can go if not.Did him and McGeady ever make up?
