I'm sure that's what's prompted (if true) at least an interview this time around..
The rumor was that he interviewed for the job previously and the clowns who owned us chose Jack Ross instead. Probably because they were far too intimidated by him and were terrified if it went wrong they wouldn't get their investment.

Who would he bring in as his backroom team or would he use Jevons and Dodds!?
Has Micah done his coaching badges? :lol:
This is the big question for me…and one KLD will have to ask him at interview. If Roy can bring a very good coach / assistant with him then i would be all for giving him another go……Fat Frank has brought Paul Clement in to help him rather than his mate Jamie Morris this time iirc……

Right we were limping into the playoffs under Johnson looking fragile, vulnerable and lacking momentum. A recipe for disaster. Owner pulled the trigger because time is of the essence.
Our league position is healthy and automatic promotion within our grasp IF WE GAIN MOMENTUM IMMEDIATELY FROM HERE ON IN.
We do not have time to scour the planet for the next Pep Guardiola. We have 17 cup finals and a perfectly capable squad. If we don't catch the top 2 it must be because of their consistency and not our lack of effort. In so doing, we enter the playoffs in the very best mental and physical shape.
Very few personalities could provide this immediate lift that the club now needs to get over the line;
Sam Allardyce could and so too could Roy Keane.
Accepting that it's not for Big Sam, it's got to be Roy Keane for me now.
It's already all over the press and social media like a self fulfilling prophecy.

The way people go on about Keane about his temperament, you’d think he’s an Irish Joey Barton ffs.

He’s a lot more chilled nowadays when I’ve seen him and will demand respect given how big of a name he is. Similar to Defoe.

If we appoint someone like McCann after all this, I’ll be f***ing gutted.
