Would offer a lot in terms of confidence and motivational skills, but how good a coach is he?

It might work if someone comes in alongside him that can do the clever cloggs stuff. As pointed out Johnson was missing some character traits that would have been helpful, I just wonder if this is going too much the other way.

If he was given the job I’d be right behind him of course, and looking forward to his arsey comments!

Ok. Greatest leader on the pitch.
yes..and where does the head coach/manager have to show leaderhsip skills? is it on the pitch..or perhaps..stay with me here..off the pitch? where keane has never displayed leaderhsip skills in any systematic or extensive way..
OK he is decisive in what he wants which is a good start..but only a start..

This morning I couldn’t believe when posters were saying they wouldn’t want Big Sam back in league f***ing one. I didn’t think I’d hear a comment as mental and silly as that again.

Now after asking someone to hold his beer, Charlie, sorry Kildare is staying Roy Keane doesn’t have leadership skills. 😂😂😂

Do people actually think before they type.

SKY pundit, same as his mate Gary, know-it-alls. Given what we all know now. He wasn't a hands-on manager, more of an adviser. Pissed off when he got bored of it and the honeymoon was over.

It's a no from me.

Okay mr pedantic. Roy keane doesnt have leadership qualities. Pmsl

Sir alex occasionally pissed off abd alienated people. Your not going to say he didnt have leadership qualities aswell are ya?
ferguspon is the greatest leader in the Premier Legaue era..if he pissed people off it was usually for a consitent and real reason that benefitted his club..fegguson was extremely well liked in the game as well as repsected...he wasnt known for alienating people...
obviously he was a hard man if people pissed him off...but he judged most of those intercations properly..
as quinn highlighted..keane is a hyp[ocrtite..a do as i say not as i do merchant..people dont respect or like that..a

it’s a good point, but what do we need now from that HC role? the board have, rightfully, made clear that promotion this season is the primary aim, with 17 games left and in my view the best squad in the division, the skills we need to prioritise in the role are confidence and motivational skills

Some dont like Allardyce. What's hard to understand. You do fair enough.

For interest I would have no issue with Keane as he likes the club.

Dont think either will though

I’d love to understand your interpretation of what homophobic is Charlie. To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t aware you were gay.
i have no idea of methvens orinetation nor do i care. Im not charlie and not gay..but you refer to peoples dress sense and way of walking as "mincing"..which means to walk in an effeminate way as a man...why would keane dislike that? why would he make jjudgements of someone based on that? is it because people who do that are stereotyped a certaion way? is that way, that they are stereotyped, homosexual? judging the stereotype is what bigots do just as much as judging the reality.
Cf Robbie Fowler and Graeme Le Saux

Would be nice to think it could be us scoring last minute winners every week and sickening Wigan instead of the other way around.
