Viva John Terry

What about him being sent off V Spurs by Poll for saying something to King? Drogba just stood and stared at Terry never making a single effort towards getting Poll to change his mind. Cole didn’t either. FA, Poll, PL, Chelsea and Spurs shamefully hushed it up. Poll went out of his way to help to aid his own career.
It doesn’t take an Einstein.
What did he say to ledley King? Why didn't ledley King report him? Maybe your not quite Einstein. Those two are supposed to be quite good mates, so I'm guessing he never said anything racist to him which you are inferring, and it makes little sense for Spurs to hush it up? Maybe you can give me your theory on that one Einstein?

This forum fascinates me at times, how can people call Terry average, compare him to Upson etc based on the below:

Terry was named in 2005, 2008 and 2009, in 2005, and was included in the for five consecutive seasons, from 2005 to 2009

I suppose this forum knows better than Journalists, Managers, his fellow professionals, legends of the game and so on...

None of that suggests that he's decent manager never mind the right man for the job.

The sad truth is that no matter whether or not the allegations about Terry are true, you just know the Magedia would tear into us, using it to deflect from their own club‘s controversy.
Terry is a winner, no doubt about it, but what would it do to our reputation if we employed him?

Aye this.........pretty much competing for the title and champions league for a decade or so.........if he wasn't that good he's have been peddled to the likes of West Ham or Everton.

He had an affair and said a nasty word , hardly the same as cutting up a journalist or flying planes into the world trade centre . What shit did Villa or Chelsea get for employing him ?

Nowt of that ilk was said at Villa.

Our reputation? They constantly bang on about us being paedos so tbh I couldn't care less if he does well. England captain who has played in the biggest games in the world. Did Villa fans have objections to him? Pretty sure they all thought he was good at his job. No manager will have everyone agreeing, but if the options are Lennon, Cook, McCann etc or John Terry, then imo there is no decision as he's by far the stand out candidate.

Yeah, but Paolo Di Canio was geet canny until he joined us, then he was a massive fascist and Sunderland were a disgrace.

Fair enough. Can’t argue with that last sentence!

Can't stand him. He's a horrible person. I'd rather have Barton as our manager.

That said if we appointed him I'd support him 100%.
