As for John Terry, we’ve had a fascist before, we’ve had a nonce in the team, it would be very Sunderland to appoint a racist.
I’d be happy enough with Terry. It feels like the whole club - and the squad - needs a bit of a “figurehead”. Terry’s reputation/record as a player could have the same effect on a club as Keanes did. I don’t think Keane was a master tactician etc, he dragged the club up a league by sheer force of personality.
