Look at that 4th goal ffs. What sort of f***ing defending is that? Are we saying that’s what the players are told to do?! Is that down to formations?! Is it fuck.

It’s absolutely astonishing how reluctant some people are to hold players accountable for not being able to the basics of their job properly.

Having seen this, are we saying that Johnson should be sacked, but Dan Neil is still some sort of wonder kid that we shouldn’t accept £6m for?!

f***ing REALLY?!

It happens because we're playing a quite open system in the 3rd tier (that's the third tier) of English football.

We're just not strong enough, not pragmatic enough and we have too many players whos first thought isn't to defend or to protect, because that's not what their instinct is or what's being drilled into them and you can see that in how we play.

Hence being In the third tier and being so positive, with players lacking experience in areas we are going to make mistakes and invite sides onto us. When that happens repeatedly it's those coaching and managing the side to improve aspects of that in training and to make adjustments to how we play and that comes back to the manager.

Its absolutely no good being so positive and open that you win several games by 3 ,4 or 5 when you then go and lose games by similar and if you don't think that's linked to how we play, our priorities as a team and the manager then God help you.

We should play a much more solid way then.

What’s Phil Parkinson up to?
