During the first lockdown I bought a refurbished s9 and went sim only. Saved me a fortune and its easily the best phone I've had. Ill do similar when this one dies.

I was Samsung only for donkeys then went over to Xiaomi. Unbelievable phones for the price. Bought a brand new Poco x3 for 179 squid and it pisses all over my galaxy s7 and the battery lasts for ever. Couldn't recommend enough.
Aye I'm sim only and get handset direct from Samsung on the upgrade program.During the first lockdown I bought a refurbished s9 and went sim only. Saved me a fortune and its easily the best phone I've had. Ill do similar when this one dies.
The refurbs I've had have always seemed to have a full battery but I've noticed of late they've started to say at least 80% of original battery charge.Considering this route myself but the state of the battery is always a concern. Do they replace or check the original battery ?
Looks like its being launched in early Feb, so yeah, I' think it makes sense to wait until then and see how the other models prices are affected.Get an S21 when the prices drop due to the S22 being released.
still using an S10+ and it does everything still (I don’t game on it which I expect is what would challenge a phone the most here days)
that is a brilliant deal
Thats a decent deal at the moment, £444 after discount and trade in for the S21FE if you have access to the discounts through EPP, unidays, studentbeans etc. If you need extra storage then £486 for the 256GB is decent too.
You know what I loved about my S10 and was gutted they changed. You'll get a mint S10 on Facebook Marketplace for about £200-£250 or an S20 for about £100 more. I got my S10 off there early last year and it's spot on. I fancy an S20 but can't justify it as I can't fault the current phone.

All of the camera unit in a long horizontal line so when you put it on a table it was solid with no wobble no matter how hard you pressed.
Aye but the housing was a nice solid line across the whole phone which meant it was stable when flat. The camera lenses are actually recessed from the main body of the phone. I'm guessing that's not the case with later models.
