What gives you joy?

Spending time with my grand daughter who did not exist two years ago but I love her more than anything, including SAFC, which is a surprise to me.

She'll give me the remote if she doesn't like anything that is on the TV, I've watched frozen a 100 times now.

She's 18 months, and bobs up and down when we sing "Red n white Army"

She'll poke me in the eye and say "Eye"

She'll try to put her finger up my nose

She's obsessed with my glasses and takes them off and puts them back on me.

She shares everything, whatever she's eating she will offer to you.

She has the same breakfast as me, but will only eat mine.

Boy, I love that bairn.

Good shout. For the last 10 years or so I’ve taken my old fella to a day at a Test match, always a highlight of the year. There’s nothing he fancies this year, unfortunately…hope that’s not it for ‘our day out’ 😟
That's a shame mate hope he fancies it again in future

Listening to my two daughters playing together. They can fight like cat and dog some days but love each other and are mostly great friends. They were in my eldest's room playing Roblox and screaming laughing the other day and I just sat outside for five minutes listening to them. It was bliss.
A warm day on the fells of the Lake district and away from the crowds.
A cup of tea listening to the birds in my back garden
Floating in a sparkling warm sea
Snorting coke out of a hookers arse crack

Being X-0 in a tournament and knowing I have a chance to top 8

Playing video games with my dad

Just about everything my daughter does

And fun.

And Manfred Mann

John Lingwood ex drummer lives 2 minutes from my house.
Lovely bloke and always have a chat with him.
Simple things for me:

Watching Swindon - Travelling with both my lads, special times that I know won’t be forever.
Feeding the birds in the garden - get so much pleasure and thinking I’m helping them along
Dog walks - See so much and enjoy that freedom
Fishing - solitude, time to think and reflect and just love the whole experience
Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll - can all but dream now but lived the life to the full as a single lad and had a very long innings :)
Striking a golf ball just right and seeing it do exactly what you wanted it to do.

A xmas card from my students, with a drawing of a fat bloke that looked suspiciously like me dressed as Santa Claus.

A glass of cold ale on a red hot day.

My guitar.

What do you teach mate.
