Booking Disney Land

Aye. Just don't expect to do every park. Not that you need to really. If you go to the two universal parks, that's two days. Probably MGM (or might be called Hollywood studios now) and magic Kingdom for another two. Maybe a day at a water park. Then there'll be one of the parks you liked that much you want to go back. Don't plan on doing 3 days of parks in a row unless you can all walk 5 miles a day in heat with no bother.

When I last went, universal were miles ahead of Disney. They might have caught up by now.

The log flumes were good for mid day. Had dried off by the time we got on the next ride.
I dried my socks on the rollercoaster at Seaworld.
Lass behind wasn't too pleased as I had one in either hand with arms in air zooming around the rollercoaster

Was the Kraken I think it was called.

I would've socked you mate.
That's the one. Didn't enjoy SeaWorld. Over priced, cheesy and half the rides weren't working.

Just had a quote through for Floridays, anyone stayed there?

Whats your August cut off?

You can fly from Glasgow with Tui on the 22nd and stay on Disney for 5k, obs you have part tickets on top ect. You can stay on Universal for 4k.....

Think the kids are due back the day you'd get home.....

The mummy is my favourite rollercoaster ever.
Best ride was probably T2 or BTTF. Mostly cos I love those films. Transformers was mint. As was the Simpsons.
I'm not a big loopy type ride fan.
The mummy is fantastic, poss my fav at universal
It’s shut for maintenance now until late summer though sadly

If you are thinking about Paris, remember that the food is expensive.

I went about 15 years ago and thought that the bait was a bit pricey, but my mate went a couple of years ago and he said it's much worse.
You can't buy burgers and hotdogs, everything is restaurants and everyone pays full cover price.
I think the cheapest place was McDonalds and it was about €15 a head.
Rain forest cafe was about €40 a head, so €160 a meal.

Most people were heading off site in taxis to get cheaper food.
Might have changed now, but worth looking into.

Been to Florida twice and it's way better than Paris, although the rides in Paris are newer.
The first time we went to Paris they still had French customer service training, so every question was answered with a shrug.
When we went back a couple of years later the Americans had fixed all of that.

Car hire is expensive at moment because the big companies have got rid of about 40% of their leased vehicles due to lack of visitors due to covid worries. Also social distancing is being used by Disney characters . No longer getting photos with them but yards away behind chain link fence or similar so be warned. Not as magical as it once was.Big let down for some parents and kids.
