NUFC Sportswashing 2022

I thought he had a decent debut under the circumstances.
the first and second halves of the game were chalk and cheese.
We played decent in the first half and Tripper looked quality on the ball.
I watched the game he passed ok 5 Yard passes never seen him put one decent cross in and he's free kick he took was poor. Like I said I thought he was distinctly average. What circumstances are that? Playing a team 2 leagues below at home with full strength team other than Wilson. Not a bad game to make your debut in really thought he'd have stood out a lot more than he did. But all of yous will be saying he's had a good game even if he's crap for next month or so

He did a lot more than just that.
He drove forward and was very vocal. He looks a class act compared to what we've been used to.
Don't worry you'll convince yourself eventually.😏
I don't need to convince myself. Trippier did that for me.

That will remain to be seen.
We got beat off Cambridge for three very good reasons.

1. We didn't take the chances we created up to half time and just after it.
2. We dropped off and seemed to have lost the ability to graft and play as a team.
3. The most important. Cambridge came for the fight for 90 plus minutes with a never say die attitude and took one of their very few chances and deserved their win because of that.

Small details can alter a game but it's all if's and but's and hindsight.

The body language from half of our players offered Cambridge their killer edge and they took that opportunity.
I hope they go on a great cup run on the back of this.

This does not finish our season in any way shape or form. It may be a blessing in disguise.
I hope they win their next game the get smashed off Kidderminster

I'm sure I saw Belotti from Torino to the Mags rumoured on here earlier. I see he wasn't in the Torino squad v Fiorentina last night. Injured?

Hopefully the Inter owners will sell to PIF now that would tip the mags over the edge

Guess I'm racist v them. Dont like them or their culture . Think they're barbaric and hate terrorism that sprouts from a lot of the middle east.

In context I like the Spanish , Italians, Greeks, Americans, Scandinavians and few others.

Dont like the French and couple parts of Africa like.

So is it racist to like some and not others . Nah

:)
Oh
Bit like going around accusing many on here of being racist without any proof just because they don't have your view on things.

What are your underlying issues? Those past skeletons beginning to make you feel guilty in your old age?

You are comedy gold though, so kudos for that.
no,
Why, because he clapped at the end?
I've
Showed it to my daughter-in -law who is a mag and she said "well Sunderland fans do the same thing" i don't f***ing think so

:eek::eek: You really have taken your new owners under your wing
mode!
Against Cambridge United I ok
Help!!

If money wasn't an issue you'd be throwing money at players right now. That may still happen but we'll see at the end of the window.
Money isn't an issue but we do need to be careful with how we offer it or we could end up with a load of long contract championship headed, highly paid mercenaries.
That's why I'm hoping for a lot of Kieron Trippier types. Quality and experience at half sensible wage fees and transfer prices.
