Quick update...just finished work and today has been very entertaining..my non attending mag colleagues are panicking now...they don't know where to turn for the answers they desperately crave about signings...I may have tipped them over only because I mentioned that the Loch Ness Drogba is better than Chris Wood!!.....You're Welcome!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Ronaldo cleaning the boots, Messi making the Pies but offers for Chris Woods as the famous number 9.....and he turns them down. Messi must be shaking his head rolling out that puff pastry thinking he's been sold a dud

Have you got a director of football now who at least has a plan of who to purchase and why ?
A temporary one it seems.
As for a plan. It remains to be seen but our first signing (Trippier) as a yardstick to go by, I'd say it's positive, whoever managed to get it over the line.
He already looks head and shoulder above most in just one game.

He didn't on Saturday he was very average. Potentially a very good signing. But you can't say he was good on Saturday.

Bruce ruined him apparently.
Nahhh. He had a cracking loan spell under Bruce. This is something a bit deeper. Whether it's homesickness or a realisation that he's made it on a big wage and contract and has basically took his foot/mind off the gas. I don't really know.
It's possible he bust his guts first time around in a decent position and he's been moved around a bit. Maybe he became a bit unsettled doing it and is taking time to get into his stride.

I'm just guessing to be fair.
And Lewis too lol, 40 mill down the pan for the pair.
I think Lewis is doing ok. A bit hit and miss but I can see a quality player in there.
It's all about working under the right coaching set up and with the right players around him.
Assuming it would be further damaging if relegated? not sure how parachute payements work. i did hear a whisper they were possibly losing them in the future.
To be fair money is not the issue now. It might have been under Ashley but it's not now.
Very generous of you. I hope you go bust and never recover you smelly bastards
You're certainly entitled to that opinion.
:eek::eek: You really have taken your new owners under your wing
Nope. I've took Newcastle United football club under my wing as I always have done.
Possibly play your heart out then get the contract you wanted then dont give a fuck :)
I'm hoping that's not the case but it wouldn't shock me if it was.

You got lucky with Trippier. His missus was desperate to be back in the NW .... think they have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and rumours of another on the way. Missus has Cheshire Housewives written all over her. Ideally it would have been Man Utd but that ship sailed with the new manager and Burnley won't go to pay that for a 31 year old so the mags were the only show in town.

I thought he had a decent debut under the circumstances.
the first and second halves of the game were chalk and cheese.
We played decent in the first half and Tripper looked quality on the ball.

Aye I agree. We definitely got lucky.

Never seen her but I'm not about to discuss her. It's Trippier that matters and obviously his family settlement, safety and comfort to aid it all along as smooth as can be.

Yep, maybe if there was a need from Man Utd it might have worked. But let's face it, I think Man Utd are fine with what they have. It's all about the coaching and management with them and obviously those players buying into that.

Anyway we got him but I'd love to know if there's a clause in his contract. I'd like to hope there isn't.
