NUFC Sportswashing 2022

Sunderland is still seen as a big club by teams that do not have that stadium and support.
Your club is on par with Newcastle in terms of support. Both clubs could offer an 80,000 stadium and fill it if all went well.
But although teams think of you as a fallen into the doldrums big club they still want your scalp if they can get it.

I could argue all kinds of stuff against your club in a similar vein to what's argued here about Newcastle but it's pointless.
Except scumcastle don't actually have a stadium of any size that they own never mind one of 80K stinker capacity

That will remain to be seen.
We got beat off Cambridge for three very good reasons.

1. We didn't take the chances we created up to half time and just after it.
2. We dropped off and seemed to have lost the ability to graft and play as a team.
3. The most important. Cambridge came for the fight for 90 plus minutes with a never say die attitude and took one of their very few chances and deserved their win because of that.

Small details can alter a game but it's all if's and but's and hindsight.

The body language from half of our players offered Cambridge their killer edge and they took that opportunity.
I hope they go on a great cup run on the back of this.

This does not finish our season in any way shape or form. It may be a blessing in disguise.
No you got beat because they scored more goals than you, it’s as simple as that👍

You can sugar coat is as much as you like with excuses

It's silly for Newcastle to splash out wads of cash on top players, as it stands.
We need as many loans as permissible and offload the dead wood or as much as we dare to, to open up spaces.

Then we need to buy in players like Trippier (we got lucky) for those prices or less to add that experience for the short term, whether we sink or swim in the prem this season.

Some Newcastle fans are getting above themselves by saying so and so isn't what we need. I've seen Solanke and Wood and players like that mentioned and I've seen the old chin rubbing as much as to say "hmmm, it's not what we'd like."

That's arrogance due to a money bags mindset.
We still have to be careful with FFP regardless of whether we can flout it like many have.

We can't afford to sling double the money at players just because we can and to get them over the line. You want heart and soul along with experience and talent, not mercenaries 5 minutes worth of badge kissing and saying the right words for the media and fans but offering half their ability and gusto.

If we buy outright we need:
A sturdy centre half willing to believe he can help the drop but also willing to right a wrong if it fails, rather than jump ship. On sensible wages.
A decent midfielder who can actually drive us forward.
A decent striker who has the old fashioned ability to score goals. Wood is closer to that.

That's the minimum we require.
We have players in that squad that can be elevated into position to finish off the assault on beating that drop.

If it doesn't work then we start from the championship and go for it, knowing we can add a few extras to set us up to get back.
If that works right away, the great....but.....

Then we start with a blank canvass, so to speak..
Except scumcastle don't actually have a stadium of any size that they own never mind one of 80K stinker capacity
We have a stadium whether its begged stolen or borrowed. We play in it and that's all that counts.

Of course. There's no sugar coating it. I said what it was.

Aye, accusing someone of serious child abuse on a public forum is acceptable. I will give you 5 minutes to apologise, otherwise I WILL be hitting the report button.
I’ll give you 5 minutes to suck my balls or I’ll put them away.

You’re a piece shit. Always have been and always will, regardless of who you f***ing report.

Of course I don't but I can offer it just as you can offer what you think. That's all we can do until the proof goes into a game and we see the end result.

You're only forming your opinion based on watching your team play against teams of similar standard in that league.
It offers you no real insight into a premier league fight.
You might as well say you can go into the premier league as you stand and finish higher than relegation.
You can believe that but you have no way of offering proof unless your club is elevated immediately into that set up.

The FA cup throws up many giant killings.
…..a woman’s needs are many fold.
Fair enough, you’re right, it is tedious for others. I came on to give an honest POV but I’ve had @Az* accusing me of taking drugs with my kids and @Zig81 of grassing , and from being from Peterlee. Both properly out of order.
I’d like to apologise on behalf of most of us on here for the Peterlee thing. That’s not acceptable.

No you don't
You have rented accommodation from the council, lets be clear on that

So what’s gone wrong with Willock? My gooner marra was looking forward to seeing him playing for them this season.
