I highly doubt that. However, money can change many a persons mind.
I'd rather we weren't held to ransom and I'd rather not go for anyone who dismisses us first time around.
It's a fine balancing act trying to get the right people to play for the club in the position we are in, for starters.
It's also difficult to get a lot of players coming to the north east in general, such is the stigma attached to it.
Add that to the frenzy against the owners and we become a poisoned chalice.
The funny thing is, the minute we start to appear like we're on a roll, things will change very very fast indeed...for the good. IMO.
