I can specifically remember getting phone calls and texts slavering on about Haaland&mbappe.
Remember the richest clerb in the world rubbish “Cristian ranalderr weshin the buuts”
Even remember having to put 300 quid bet on with one (of the very very few) mag mates I keep that they wouldn’t win a trophy in the next five year other than maybe the championship.

But aye, it never happened :lol:

No criticism of Staveley is allowed apparently due to her having bells parsley or something.

It is the unwavering faith in the new owners that gets me. They are evidently clueless and relying upon "football consultants". The takeover was going on for 18 months on day one they should have had a DoF/Head of Recruitment/Head of Academy/Head of Analysis all lined up and ready to go. Something tells me very little of this 300bn is going to trickle down to NUFC.

I had one tell me they’ll be getting Henderson in to spearhead their revival and he would sign as he wants to come back ‘home’.

Absolute no chance.

It did seem a mess when they first took over, weirdly it seemed to take the front people by surprise and they didn’t have any idea what to do next.

In the end they got Dave’s window cleaning services in to clean the windows

This could be their equivalent of a Donald / Methven moment, and we discover they’re not quite as affluent as first thought thought. At least the cleaned the windaz.
