Millwall have got a 15yr old on the bench v Coventry tonight, surely the Mags have enough U23's to put out a team, they were good enough to play a League one team who just happened to play a Premier League team last week, no logic in not playing U23's the cheating buggers & the EPL are just as bad for letting them get away with it.

That was the u21s not the u23s that played your team.
The 25 man squad is what's submitted at the start of the season and I'm not sure you can add to that players over 21 who were omitted originally.
I would rather just get the game played but Everton who called off the game against Burnley are in a similar position and there have been others as well so obviously the league is receptive to the needs of the clubs

No idea whats going on here. Whos the woman?

She's one of those twitcher/youtuber lot that inexplicably supports 2 clubs (NUFC and Atletico) I don't think she goes to games but somehow turns up on Sky, BBC etc etc as a fan pundit.

Gets a load of abuse of wrong uns for her looks, posing a canny bit with her baps half out and having an opinion on football.

She used to be close with Sheik Reverend Steve Wraith - don't believe she is anymore.

The rule is you need 13 outfield players and a goalkeeper. Due to covid, injuries and suspensions we don't have 13 outfield players

No one outside of Newcassil and Saudi Arabia believes you have 12 players unvailable from your squad of 25 and no U23's able to step in - At the end of the game when beheddie sowed the seed for this you had fielded a full team without needing a single U23. The overnight lose is nonsense. Either the PL have been conned or someone in the chain has done very well for Christmas.

Ah was she on that Gary Neville thing?

Are they allowed to anyway? I thought you named 25 players at the beginning of the season and had to pick from them until the window?

No, U23's are 'free', the squad only requires senior players to be limited to 25, it's an effort to encourage giving kids a chance, like for example when their are some injuries and suspensions unless you are NUFC.

If it had been two of your worst players injured against Man U and not your two best players would you have called for the Everton game to be called off...... Genuine question

From that matchday squad of 18 vs Man United, 3 were goalkeepers. 3 went off injured, one got suspended and another looked like he was limping. That goes below 13 available outfield players

You can play under 23s without having to register them in the squad. There's a similar thing in the EFL; there's a 22 limit on senior players, but an awful lot of our regulars don't count towards it (Hoffmann, Doyle, Cirkin, Neil and Dajaku off the top of my head)

Possibly but probably not, although having less than 13 players might have been a factor.
Either way they're using the situation to their advantage which is probably quite sensible when other clubs are doing the same. I'd rather just get the game played but i can see why they want it off

Just shut the whole thing down for 30 days. No games ( including European competition) no training no transfer window. That can open when the season re-starts.Then re start the season. Finish it in June if they have to.

wonderful maths, so from 25 in the squad you lost 7 or discovered they were keepers (a bit of a limp 🤣 ) - even that leaves 18 BEFORE you add from a whole team of U23's which you have recently managed to put out. Dress it up anyway you like, the rules have been broken by a weak as piss* PL just as they did in deciding PIF were definitely not Saudi Arabia, but er, we can't show any evidence. *weak as piss/corrupt/incompetent delte as appropriate.

Maybe need to look at players who were injured not being allowed to play in the rescheduled fixture, just in case teams are using covid as an excuse

Just finish the season now ,we get promoted they get relagated 😂😂😂😂
They’re be absolute hell on but be splendid

Who taught you maths Dianne Abbott

There is a strong case for this, should the transfer window be open and have players, agents, etc flying around Europe against a background of illness and death amongst 'ordinary' people. How can the Netherlands for example under lockdown operate a transfer window?

Can I just say…..that I f*****g hate those black n white filthy faced bastards now more than I ever have done in over 50 years of living and breathing Sunderland AFC.
I despise and disgust them, everyone of them, young old no matter what.
They are now well matched to their corrupt and horrible owners.
Rant over.😡
