Thankfully the Mags football doesn't match their PR and spin, as they would be in the Champion's league.

Just read the Guardians match report and it mentions the full stadium, covid cases, injuries and how Eddie is working miracles. It's as if every other team has every player fit.
"Working miracles ". hes only won 1 game and That was against the team 1 place above them !!!

They played ok last night against a very poor Man Utd side. They’ve won one game against the team above them (1-0). I genuinely can’t figure out where this mass improvement and praise for Beheaddie is coming from. Even Norwich got some new manager bounce. I’m still waiting for this one.

I suppose if Ashley had appointed him the thoughts would’ve been different?

The reaction to a above average performance by Linton shows how clueless most mags are when it comes to football.

He played in midfield yet conceded 70% of possession. He only completed 75.6% of his passes, even Fred achieved higher. 2 out of 4 long passes were incomplete. He made 5 tackles and lost 3....ffs but he is the next Yaya or Viera. You really couldn't make it up.

The least football intelligent fan base around.

But but but wor Eddie says he’s good in midfield so we have to continue to believe that.

It’s a good thing in my opinion. They’ll start to think they don’t need to buy a proper central midfielder and come February time the penny will drop that he is actually quite shit and was just having a decent spell.

It’s also known as the Colback syndrome and Longstaff paradox.

Bottom line is they needed to win last night. That sitter missed to make it 2-0 is going to cost them.

Injuries to their only goal scorers. They won’t sign anyone until the end of the window. If injuries and covid will stop games being played who in the right mind will let their best players or even fringe players leave.

They have 4 games left before the window shuts. Unless they do business early then they will only have 15 games left with new players.

Home form in the last 6 games only Watford and Norwich have scored less, the bad news for them is Burnley, Southampton and Leeds have scored more points.

Mags normally love a spawny win against one of the big boys to boost them up the table. Funny how these teams always keep their worst performances of the season for these smelly bastards.

Absolutely embarrassing not beating them.

No wins today, gents? Such a shame :)

Stats can be really misleading though can't they.

Dan Neil has scored 2 and got 1 assist all season yet people on the Burnley thread are suggesting he's a 30m player. Stats can easily be manipulated.

I still can't get over how shit United were last night. Any other PL team would have beaten them, so the mags have dropped two points last night.

They have now only won 1 in 19 games.

Every player they sign will have an overinflated price tag and players will want an overinflated wage. It will be like what happened 2016 when they spent a fortune and still got relegated.

Said on match thread that Lurch face and hair bear commentary was so bad. Man U fans at home listening would have thought the pair of them had been gang raped in the Trafford centre.

At one point Man U nearly scored and it was offside and Lurch was devastated until he seen the flag . Weird it was
