We're not going to go out and pay £50m plus for a Wilson upgrade in January so can see why we're being linked with young prospects on loan like Palmer or veterans on a short-term deal like Ighalo. Both upgrades on what we have behind Wilson at the moment.

Yeah folk need to be realistic with this window. Realistically if we splashed 40 million on Botman, 15 on Trippier and 10 on Kamara and a couple of loans it’s pretty unprecedented for a January window.

was the reply 😬

On the other hand, Burnley could be playing three games a week at the end of the season when they’re probably already flagging
Happened to us and did us a favour as we knew what we had to do but could also go the other way and do them lot a favour. Either way they will never be happy and it’s always a conspiracy

Are they still banging on about that Hayden decision with the goal standing?

There was nothing the matter with him, he was trying it on. You see him glance up, see they’re under attack and goes back down. He then plays on absolutely fine. It also all happened within 3 or 4 seconds.

Imagine the chaos if play was stopped like that. Every player would just fall to the ground holding their head whenever under attack or from every corner

He should've been fined by Newcastle for dereliction of duty. Embarrassing.
