Our supporters were magnificent, some of our build up play was way higher than L1 , but the defensive frailties were there for all to see.
No ball winner in midfield, which must be top priority in January and a more pragmatic approach away from home against the better teams
We have the base to win the league if we strengthen in the right areas and pick the right team and tactics

I think the term "reserves" is a bit unfair, the amount of money they have in the "reserves" is ridiculous.
72m pepe, 50m ben white, 40m odegaard - insane money in comparison to us, they're miles ahead.

German international keeper
England international centre half, £50m
Midfield player with 83 international caps
Smith Rowe - England caps and huge prospect
Lad who signed for Madrid at 15 and captains Norway at 22
21st most expensive footballer ever

I mean, they’re better than us.

But we played really well in patches. Poor defensively at times. But I was quite proud of that

Fuck off with the title.

Leno - German international
Cedric - Portugal international
White - £50M England international
Holding - 72 Premier League games
Tavares - Portugal U21 international signed for £8M from Benfica
Elneny - 73 Premier League ganes and 83 caps for Egypt
Pepe - club record transfer at £71M
Oeegaard - £56M signing from Real Madrid
Smith-Rowe - England international
Balogun - England U21 international
Nketiah - England U21 international

We were missing a canny few players tonight and some that were in the squad have just come back from lengthy injuries

Hoffmann
Huggins
Cirkin - First time in squad for nearly 2 months
Hume - Just come back from injury after a long injury lay off
Evans - First time in squad for a month
O'Nien
Dejaku
McGeady

You idiot. Supporters who want the team to be better than they are. Aren't they supporters?
Aye, but expecting us to be beating a team 43 places above us. With a 72 million pound winger and a 50 million pound centre half, is a show of somebody who's support is a bit unrealistic.

He did, not disputing the fact, but Neil has to develop, unfortunately training with the players we have and playing in this league is good for a season or two but he will want to push on. Henderson prime example.
Don’t necessarily agree. If we keep signing good technical players and don’t resort to cloggers he’ll learn while playing mens football rather than under 23 football.

One were Embleton dived in ,didn't need to and Doyle just had to see nketias run and block him off ,2 chances to avoid the goal there

I'm not disagreeing in saying we couldn't have done better but I think the run from Nketiah is a good one.

Embleton should have used his head more in that situation.
