We played well. Pressed high and always going to be tough second half with the effort going in. Generally positive play and we did alright. We're short of quality upfront though. Once Broadhead went off the bench offered nothing comparable to replace with and Gooch is not good enough to play that high.

Overall it was a good test we did reasonably well at, but we look no better than a bottom third Championship side. Still lots of work to do to improve the side.
We looked like what we ultimately are at the moment. A play off league 1 team. Great to see the effort and some neat attacking play in the first half but we're still way short of where we have to be.

If we don't invest in January id be very concerned.

Arsenal were quite good in the second half. We played some decent football in possession which was pleasing and which was also a positive. We didn't shoot ourselves in the foot and didn't get humiliated.

We all know that we're a League One club rebuilding from the ground up.

Brilliant effort tonight from at least 5 or 6 lads tonight, credit to the club.... and 5 or 6 who simply couldnt be bothered to show up for a major cup quarter final.

people rinsing hume for not being on a par with a player worth more than i'd earn in 100 lifetimes is a bit much imo
