What the hell are the Chronicle on about, at 3 nil down with all the flags it felt like a carnival atmosphere, it was silent, are these fuckers deaf as well as blind.
The rag of paper and all the journalists and the supporters have to keep the charade going. Once they stop this, the harsh reality of being owned by a murderous despotic regime, relegation looms and Eddie is absolutely tosh comes crashing down around them.
Add to that that even without all that happening they are the smelliest bunch of supporters in the PL(and everywhere else).

It's not as if the game was on TV and everyone could see and hear how bad and lacklustre the atmosphere was.

Everyone keeps saying this about better players in Jan but there's no guarantee that the players will be better. January transfer windows are hard to navigate and that's when you've had plenty of time to prepare. As it stands their manager has only had the job for 8 weeks and they've just hired a temporary DOF. Not only do they have to shore up a leaky defence but they have to add some goals to the attack. Its a lot to do in a short time
It is but they are only 3 points from safety and are unbeaten against bottom 9.

Had they been 10 points adrift then yes they would be in trouble. As it is, they will probably spend a shit load next month to make the 3 point difference.

I was offered a free ticket for the match today and went along as I wanted the chance to see someof the man city world class players.

Man of the match today for me was Ederson, I have never seen a player (keeper or outfield), with that passing ability. His balls out to the wing were incredible....i was blown away.

With a team that was originally constructed to win promotion from the Championship in 2016/17, it's little wonder Newcastle have conceded 11 goals in a week to three of last season's top five
Ffs they sound like the Tories blaming labour

Ha ha ha so you think they're not going to lose a game outside the top 7 for the rest of the season and beat teams away from home that they've not been able to do at home!

They're f***ing shit man and gone!
I wrote this

"it's got a quick daft example of the points that you'd expect them to be happy with at the bare minimum."

Owt could happen and given they may or may not get some money grabbing mercenaries in January that could improve the team it's too early to predict who is going down. I doubt anyone on here at this precise moment would bet their house or even a decent wedge on the Mags going down plus there's 4 or 5 other shite teams around them to consider.

Watford and Burnley play each other in 1 of their games in hand so effectively at least 4 points adrift with much worse goal difference
Their only hope is it doesnt get to the projected 29 games before decided on PPG supposedly.

Hope the season limps to the 29 and PPG then they have no chance for sure:lol::lol:

They’ll survive comfortably and then it will be heralded as the miracle of the premier league era.
The reality is they’ll be no more than 3 points adrift with access to the biggest January transfer budget ever.
We were seven points adrift in late April with Chelsea, City, Man Utd still all to play away from home and yet survived with a game to spare.
That’s a miraculous escape !

That bit its bollocks, if they were going to do that I doubt they would of hired behEddie howe and grumbled over 200k for his backroom staff

They were writing that there was evidence things were getting better under Howe

Yet excluding the fluke Burnley win they've conceded no less than three goals per game for the past three

We weren't stuck near the bottom for the start with only 1 win in our first 18 games and with the other teams around us having games in hand.
