As you see it gives them 25 points so that would give them 35 points which could be enough this season like it was for the last 5 seasons. They could even get more points as some of those 1's could be 3's if they get some decent players in and they may get some a point or 2 from the top 7 teams. The teams that will be in the relegation mix this season with the Mags are Norwich, Burnley, Watford, Southampton and Leeds though I think Leeds will come good when they get players back. The mags need to be getting 3 at home and avoid defeat away at the least. It certainly isn't over just yet for them yet as there's a long way to go and we all know our history of avoiding relegation even though we looked doomed.

No idea on how much they will spend but they are loaded and I think they will spend more than they originally planned too in January.

Going down will set them back and I think they will spend big to avoid it. From the few times I've seen them the defence would be where I'd be looking to strengthen.

They are going to have to pay absolutely massive wages otherwise I can't see why good players would want the aggravation. I've got no idea what's going to happen in January but they are absolutely class entertainment.
 
I noticed under Bruce that they sometimes fluked a result against the top teams (mainly due to the top teams putting in their worst performance of the season). Doesn't seem to be happening for Eddie the 8th though....

Yeah they will but staying in the Premier League is a must. You can't sportswash in division 2.
 
The only players that will sign for them on a permanent basis in January are mercenaries who will probably have relegation clauses.
The others will be loan signings, who don’t really give a shiny shit whether they stop up or not.

They won’t get any players committed to a relegation battle, or to “loving the Toon“

They are sunk for me.

Plus Eddie Howe, who has a great eye for an overpriced championship player, is signing them because they can't find a director of football who wants the job

Yep, and it’s not just he’d be in charge of signings, it’s what standing he has in the game to attract signings, money aside, which goes back to my original point of loans and mercenarie.

Also if he’s in charge of signings because the richest club in the world can’t find a director of football 2/3 months in I’d be wondering why not. I mean the ones we found proved to be pretty shit 😄 but at least we found them.
