Spending in January doesn't guarantee anything.

If they are going to over pay for big names its a risk being in a relegation dog fight.

No it doesn't but they only have to make up 3 points as it stands. Think Goodman said on the tele that they are unbeaten against the bottom 10 too so its not like they are a million miles away from 4th bottom.

Hope I'm wrong like

They will stay up. Leeds or Watford will replace them

Only 3 points off safety, 7 points off 15th.

They will spend in January and survive easy
However, they still have all the big teams to play again before the end of the season. I fully expect the Mags to get whalloped in those return fixtures so that reduces the number of realistically winnable games they have left to get the points they need to stay up.

Aye completely different perspective to when they got the flags out later in the video when you see it empty like that. Obviously looking from the side the flags make it looked packed out as the cover all the empty seats.

From the front Adam showing the true reality. But to be fair, it's still a canny sight and at least some fans have the balls to stick it out and support the team. Unlike the 1,000's that walked when that 4th goal went in and missed the lap of honour from the players at the end.

Best fans in the world though

The atmosphere was shocking, they even commented how quiet their fans were on Sky.

But won't the other teams around those have the same fixtures or have they played the big clubs more than the mags have? They are bonus games anyhow. They need to start beating Watford, Leeds, Burnley etc.

Lap dog out for likes

Not even close to gone unfortunately. They’re a win off 4th bottom with over half the season to go.
They have played the most games out of all teams down there. burnley are ahead of them by a point with 3 games in hand. watford are 3 points ahead with 2 games in hand. yes there's a way to go but they won't have these new players in place on Jan 1st. most deals are done in the final week or days by then all these impotant games agaist watford, leeds and southampton will be gone. Their final 4 games are Liverpool at home, man u away, arsenal home and finally burnley away. tough

Tough agreed but gone no chance.

Is it normal for a teams that’s only won 1 game in the first half of the season to be 1 win from safety. Jammy bastards man

Then their record against the bottom 10 is irrelevant then.

Not really - point being is that although they are currently shit, none of the bottom sides have beat them and so they can't be too far away from those sides in terms of quality. And with only a 3 point gap to safety and better players in January, I reckon they will easily stay up.

One win from safety? Aye, if they win 9-0. Ffs, they've won 1 all season, have failed to beat the other bottom 6 teams (Burnley excepted) home or away, have a horrendous g/d, a shit run in, have no worthwhile footballing set up, a manager who can't organise a defence, and are relying on Amanda f***ing Staveley to bring sufficient quality recruits in the most difficult transfer window to turn it round? Fuck off. And that's assuming, as some on here are, that the clubs around them are incapable of improving also? Double fuck off.
