People come out all the time to expose stuff but it gets waved away as that person simply being a nut case or not a proper scientist or has been wronged so are trying to create issues....and so on. We'll always face a climate change. The Earth is a cell (in my opinion) and it's a dying cell. Thinks will alter as our man made time goes on.
Basically it's slowly disintegrating and will die off to be replaced by another cell...and so on.

I've said previously that 'our purpose' is difficult to fathom and, of course, we may well have no purpose other than living and dying.

Over the length of a bath it would be 0.000008 inches.

You could go out into the middle of the ocean and the curve would be 0.000008 inches over a 5 feet stretch.

This is your inability to understand scale again. If the maths works for a large area you can break it down into smaller areas.
You could work out the curve for an area of the ocean the size a sink if you wanted.

Many major NASA and ESA missions have some input or instruments designed by UK universities. We are not building massive rockets here and that manufacture requires a large work force, so it is not unreasonable to estimate up to 2 million people world wide currently.

But that still leaves about a million people who would need to be in on the lie.
